Videoworks achieved for the client Terna S.p.A., the construction of the headquarters CAMPUS with multimedia and video conferencing services helpful for training activities. More precisely, the new headquarters, built on the site of the Station of North Rome - Marcigliana in a building that once housed a workshop equipped with overhead crane, have been set up, different environments.
In each of the classrooms, equipped with a double video projection system, with a double pc for the teacher and with a retractable monitor in student's location, has been implemented integrated management system controlled through a touch panel. The touch panel has totally custom graphic user interface, simple and intuitive, able to allow any teacher to select the video and audio sources to play (fixed Pc, pc laptop, tv decoder, etc.) and to make adjustments in the volume s' sound in the classroom. The pre-configured scenarios make the classrooms ready to use independently on the type of course that you should play.
4 MEETING ROOMS
Each of the rooms was equipped with video conferencing systems able to realize pointto- point calls with Full-HD quality. The visualization of the connected participants is made with a 65" display with integrated speakers, touch-panel screen and internal PC. The installed display, or on the wall or on the cart / totem, is not a mere display device for video conferencing and presentations from a PC, but that can also be used for interactive presentations. At the center of the conference table is placed the audio console combined with the video conferencing system controlled via touch-panel that is part of the Room management system, through which you can also control the switching of the display between source signals: local pc (laptop on the table), pc internal videoconferencing.
1 CONFERENCE ROOM
This cinema room has been integrated with a video conferencing system having the possibility to extend the participation during events also to users connected remotely. For this purpose Videoworks provided 4 PTZ cameras and Full-HD HDMI matrix for switching and distributing HD signals playing in the system. The integration with the rest of audiovisual equipment allows to send the voice of local speakers through the microphone system in the room, to get the voice of the people of remote speakers' sound system of the hall, and to display the same on the projection screen. All the devices are monitored and managed remotely using a special software application that can enable the on / off at preset times and to receive any maintenance requests and reminders in order to ensure the best systems' supervision. For this reason there is a workstation, which via Internet, enables to access and to interact with control systems and devices connected to the network. Thanks to the structure of the system it is possible to reach all the rooms through a single access point. The management software developed for each classroom or meeting room, is also available on the PC to allow, in particular in case of failure of a touch-panel, to have the control of the plant and to allow the smooth running of the sessions.
